Job Overview: As a member of the housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness, order, and hygiene standards within our facilities. Your responsibilities will include cleaning and sanitizing designated areas, restocking supplies, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our guests and staff. Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform cleaning tasks according to established procedures, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces in assigned areas.
- Room Preparation: Prepare designated spaces by cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities.
- Waste Management: Collect and dispose of trash, recyclables, and biohazardous waste in accordance with waste management protocols and safety guidelines.
- Supply Management: Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and amenities in designated areas, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage.
- Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and secure environment by adhering to safety protocols, using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and reporting any hazards or security concerns to the supervisor.
- Customer Service: Provide courteous and prompt assistance to guests and staff, addressing inquiries, requests, and concerns in a professional and proactive manner.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other housekeeping staff and departments to coordinate tasks, share resources, and ensure efficient workflow and service delivery.
- Quality Assurance: Perform routine inspections of assigned areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with hygiene standards, promptly addressing any deficiencies or issues identified.
Requirements:
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift heavy objects repeatedly during the shift, as well as perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning and sanitizing tasks to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Time Management: Efficient time management skills to prioritize tasks, manage workload, and complete assignments within designated timeframes.
- Reliability: Dependable and punctual attendance, with the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the job.
